About

The main objective of project ON TIME is to improve the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of cancer with improved quality of the services in public health sector through the modernization of equipment, education and networking of health professionals at the Cross-border Health Education Centre established in Bosnia and Herzegovina and acting as a knowledge hub for life long learning education and networking of health care professionals. Three mobile teams are formed within 3 institutes for public health with trained health professionals to increase the knowledge of general public about importance of prevention and early detection of colon and breast cancer and individual consultations on field. Project Partners are equipped with modern medical equipment for the purpose of improving early diagnosis and treatment.

Partners

The Lead Partner, Institute of Public Health Zadar (HR) is responsible for overall project management and monitoring of the project implementation, for the procurement of the equipment, organization and implementation of lifelong learning trainings for health specialists, development of promotional – educational campaign including on-field lectures and events for the population in order to raise awareness and change behaviour. LP is in charge of upgrading an e-health tool for health specialists and patients. Also, LP is responsible for some communication activities: organization of kick-off and final conference and promo events and print of promotional materials.

General hospital Zadar (HR) assists the LP and other partners in all tasks related to the management and implementation of the project activities. General hospital Zadar participates in the procurement of equipment, improvement of knowledge of health care professionals and NGO representatives; improvement of the procedures for the early detection and optimization of treatment of colon and breast cancer. It is also in charge of developing communication channels on local area and contributes to the project promotion across the country.

Institute of public health of Montenegro – IJZCG (ME) is continuously assisting the LP and other partners in all activities related to the management and implementation of all planned activities. IJZCG participates in the development of the promotional – educational campaign, in the organisation of field lectures and events for the population in order to raise awareness and change behaviour. IJZCG is also responsible for the organization and implementation of lifelong learning trainings for health specialists, procurement of equipment for health care institutions, and print of promotional materials in Montenegro project area.

PHI General Hospital “Blažo Orlandić” BarOB Bar (ME) assists LP and other partners in all tasks related to the management and implementation of project activities. OB Bar participates in the procurement of equipment, improving the knowledge of health workers and NGO representatives; improving procedures for early detection and optimization of treatment of colon and breast cancer, thus taking part in the National Programme of the mentioned diseases and raising the level of services in their field of work. OB Bar develops communication channels in ocal area and contributes to the promotion of projects across the country. Together with LP and other partners in the project, OB Bar is responsible for all tasks related to the management and implementation of the project activities.

Institute for public health of West Herzegovina County – ZJZ-ZZH (BA) is in charge of the procurement of the equipment, organization, and implementation of lifelong learning trainings for health specialists and on-field lectures and events for the population in order to raise awareness and change behaviour in the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. ZJZ-ZZH is responsible for the organization of workshops for the transfer of knowledge and NGO representatives and for promotional and communication activities including communication strategy, promotion of video clips, and creation of graphic guide and print of promotional materials.
